Organizer Guide

Everything you need to create shows, sell tickets, get your team checking in guests, and get paid — all from your FlikTix dashboard.

Creating Events Attendees Check-In Getting Paid Your Profile

1. Creating Your First Event

From your dashboard, click Create New Event. Fill in the basics — name, date, venue, description, and a poster image — then set up your ticket types below.

Ticket types
Label
General Admission
Price
15.00
Capacity
0 = ∞
Sale starts / ends — optional, leave blank to sell immediately and indefinitely

Each ticket type can have its own sale window — for example, an early-bird price that stops selling at a specific date and time, or a door-price tier that only unlocks the day of the show. Leave the sale dates blank if you just want it available the whole time.

Tip: tickets automatically stay listed and purchasable through midnight the day after your event — so a show tonight won't vanish from the site the moment doors open.

2. Managing Attendees

Every event has an Attendees tab in your dashboard showing everyone who's bought a ticket — searchable by name or email, filterable by ticket type or status.

Need to give someone a free ticket — a band member, press, a giveaway winner? Click + Comp Ticket, enter their name and email, and it's issued instantly with a real PDF ticket and QR code, same as a paid purchase.

You can also export the list as a CSV, print a physical door list, or email your whole attendee list at once.

3. Check-In Staff & the Scanner App

The Door / Check-In tab is where you set up how guests get checked in on the night of the show. There are two ways to give someone access:

Assigned staff accounts

+ Add Staff

Option A — Add a staff account. If the person already has a FlikTix account, enter their email and click Add Staff. Check the box for "all my current and future shows" if they'll be helping at every event, not just this one.

Option B — Generate a door access code. For a one-off volunteer who doesn't want an account, generate a shareable link with a PIN instead — no login required on their end.

Anyone with staff access can log in and go to My Check-Ins to see every show they can check people into. Opening a show shows the full guest list alphabetically — tap Check In next to a name, or switch to the Scan tab to scan QR codes from tickets directly.

4. Getting Paid

Every ticket sale credits your My Wallet page automatically — the full ticket price plus a $1 incentive per ticket sold. FlikTix's service fee is the only thing kept separate.

Withdraw Now

Before you can withdraw, you'll need to connect a bank account or debit card through Stripe — FlikTix's payment processor. This only takes a few minutes: click Continue Setup on your wallet page and follow Stripe's prompts to verify your identity and add a payout method.

Once connected, withdrawals go out instantly to a supported debit card, or in 1–2 business days as a standard bank transfer.

Note: for events with more than 50% of tickets sold, only half your earnings unlock before the event — the rest unlocks automatically once doors open, so you always have some cash flow ahead of the show.

5. Your Organizer Profile

Your public profile page is where fans discover you — it lists your upcoming shows automatically and can include a bio, photos, and links to your social media.

Your Organizer Name
A short bio about who you are and what kind of shows you put on.
Instagram
Spotify

Edit yours anytime from your dashboard under Edit Profile — upload a cover photo and avatar, write your bio, add social links, and upload photos to your gallery.

Every event page also has a Share button so fans can post directly to Facebook or X, or copy a link — the more your shows get shared, the more tickets you sell.
